About
Awards for ecommerce, with nothing extra at checkout.
The Ecom Awards celebrates the online stores, and the agencies behind them, doing the best work in ecommerce. It has two parts: a free Showcase for inspiration, and a judged annual awards programme.
Why it exists
Some industry awards charge to enter, then charge again to attend, to use the logo, or to buy the certificate. We think that’s backwards. If your work wins, you should be able to say so without another invoice.
We also wanted somewhere to look at great online stores. Not just screenshots, but who built them, the features they use and what makes them work. That’s the Showcase. Our editors pick most of it themselves, for free.
The two parts
The Showcase is a growing library of online stores, chosen by our editors or submitted by the community. Anyone can browse it. Store and agency owners can claim their pages.
The awards run once a year, starting with Edition 01 in 2027. Brands, agencies and the two together enter their best work. Every entry is read by two judges who build and run online stores.
AT A GLANCE
Our principles
- 01
No pay-to-win
Money never buys a result. Sponsors don’t judge, and nobody can pay for a shortlist place, a win or a Showcase feature.
- 02
No winner fees
You pay to enter, and that’s it. There’s no fee to be shortlisted, to win, or to collect your trophy.
- 03
Logo use included
Winners can use the winner logo with no licence fee.
- 04
Feedback included
Every entry gets written feedback from two judges, whether it wins or not.
- 05
Featured isn’t won
Our editors feature stores in the Showcase. That’s a recommendation, not an award, and we always say which is which.
- 06
Connected businesses can’t win
Businesses connected to the organisers can be featured in the Showcase, but they can’t win an award.
Open worldwide
The awards and the Showcase are open worldwide: to any online store, on any platform, and to the agencies and freelancers who build them, wherever they are. Prices are shown in pounds sterling.
