The Showcase

What is the Showcase?

A library of great online stores, with the agencies that built them, the features they use and the apps they run. It’s free to browse and there for inspiration.

Does it cost anything to be featured?

Not when our editors pick you: editor picks are free, and so is claiming your page. If you submit your own work, there’s a small review fee that pays for an editor’s review, not a guaranteed place. If we don’t feature it, we tell you why. Nobody can pay to be featured, and award entries are separate.

How are stores chosen?

Our editors pick stores, and members of the community submit them. An editor reviews every submission before it goes live.

Is being featured the same as winning an award?

No. Featured means our editors recommend it. Winning means it was entered into the awards, judged and chosen by the panel. We always label which is which.

Can I show that my store is featured?

Yes. Featured stores get a small “Featured” badge you can embed on your own site, free of charge.

Submitting and claiming

How do I submit a store?

Create a free account, then paste the store address on the submit page. We fill in what we can, you add the credits and the story, and an editor reviews it.

Our store or agency is already listed. Can we manage the page?

Yes. Use “Claim this page” on your store or agency page. It’s free. We confirm you work there with an email to your business’s own domain, then an editor approves it.

Can I ask for a page to be removed?

Yes. Once you’ve claimed the page you can take it down yourself. If you can’t claim it, email hello@theecomawards.com and we’ll help.

Entering the awards

Who can enter?

Ecommerce brands, agencies and freelancers anywhere in the world, for work on any live online store. Brands and agencies can also enter together as one joint entry.

When do entries open and close?

For Edition 01, entries open on 15 Feb 2027 and close on 30 Apr 2027. Winners are announced on 8 Jul 2027. These dates are a draft until we confirm them.

How many categories are there?

10. Some are for brands, some for agencies, one is open to anyone, and one is for a brand and agency entering together.

What work is eligible?

Work that was live or delivered in the 12 months before entries close.

Judging

Who judges the entries?

People who build and run online stores. We’ll announce the panel soon. At least two judges read every entry.

How are entries scored?

Every category uses the same rubric: results 40%, craft 30%, strategy 20%, evidence 10%.

Will I get feedback?

Yes. Every entry gets written feedback from its judges, whether it wins or not. It’s included in the entry fee.

What if a judge knows the entrant?

Judges declare conflicts before scoring and skip any entry they’re connected to. Businesses connected to the organisers can be featured in the Showcase but can’t win an award.

Fees

How much does it cost to enter?

Draft prices per category, ex VAT: super early £95, early £125, final £165, agency × brand (joint) £195. Your fourth entry is free.

Are there any other fees?

No. There’s no fee to be shortlisted, to win, or to use the winner logo. Feedback, the “Judged & Verified” badge for shortlisted entries and winners, and a trophy for each winner are all included.

Sponsors

Do sponsors influence the results?

No. Sponsors never buy outcomes. A category partner can put its name on a category, but never judges it and never sees scores before results.

How can my company sponsor?

We offer a headline partnership and category partnerships. See the sponsors page for details, or email us.
