Why we featured it

Luaka Bop's site looks like one of its record sleeves: a chequered, multicoloured border frames every page, a huge rounded wordmark opens the homepage and condensed type runs through the navigation. The shop is woven into the label's story, so each release page carries the tracklist, format options and long-form notes, and small jokes such as a new answer to 'What is Luaka Bop?' on every visit reward browsing.
